Dr. Marc Lustig is a board certified pediatric ophthalmologist and strabismus surgeon with a private practice in Manhattan.
After completing his combined M.D. and Ph.D. degrees at the New York University School of Medicine, he finished his fellowship training at the NYU Medical Center and Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus. Dr. Lustig earned his Ph.D. in an NIH funded program studying the roles of growth factors involved in the early neuro-development of the visual pathways.
Dr. Lustig is also a dedicated volunteer paramedic for a local ambulance corps. He is an attending surgeon at the New York Eye & Ear Infirmary and performs most of his surgeries there.
Dr. Lustig regularly employs adjustable and non-adjustable sutures for his patients requiring strabismus surgery.
